Due to Senior altar servers leaving in May, we would like to train new servers now, so that they may serve at the altar during the summer. This is a wonderful way in which you can grow in faith and service. Pre-registration is required for any training session. New Altar Server Training

New servers must be rising 5th graders or above and at least 10 years old by September 30, 2023. Both boys and girls are eligible. We welcome rising 5th through 12th graders. New servers will need to attend both new server sessions before being scheduled.

Session #1: Monday, March 6, 6:00–7:00 PM – This is a mandatory session in which you will learn liturgical vocabulary and terms necessary for the second session.
Session #2: Tuesday, March 7, 6:00–7:00 PM

Cross Bearer Training for existing servers
Monday, March 6, 7:00–7:30 PM – Cross Bearer training for rising 8–12 Graders who would like to learn how to be a Cross Bearer.

Funeral Server Training for existing servers
Tuesday, March 7, 4:00–4:30 PM – Training for servers with at least one full year as a server. Minimum rising 6-7th grade who would like to learn how to serve Funeral Masses.

Thurifer Training for existing Cross Bearers
Tuesday, April 18, 6:00–6:30 PM – Thurifer training for rising 9–12 Graders who have experience as Cross Bearer and would now like to learn to use the incense at Mass.
